From order entry to next-day shipping: the Boston Scientific Clonmel vision turned into reality
Boston Scientific Clonmel (BSC) implemented a transformational next-day shipping system that has reduced inventory by a six-figure sum, has halved cycle time, and increased customer responsiveness.
By optimising areas of the value stream, BSC created a “Customise To Ship (C2S)” model which has created benefits all along the supply chain. This breakout session will demonstrate how BSC achieved this, and use interactive exercises to show the lessons learned. The BSC team of graduates from the Waterford Institute of Technology Higher Diploma in Busines in Operational Excellence will guide you through this BSC transformational change in an exciting and interactive session.
